FAQ'S


Q. How does your Character Party work?

A. It's easy! Just choose a character from our various Character categories in our navigation bar and give us a call or fill out our contact form. We'll contact you with party details and get you booked. Your character will arrive in full costume, entertain your child guests with your package and take photos with all your guests. 


Q. What forms of payment do you accept?

A. Credit Card, PayPal. Your entertainment will only be officially reserved with a deposit payment at the time of booking. For parties, you pay the balance in cash to our performer. We do not hold dates for anyone without payment. We do not accept checks. 


Q. Do I give the character a gratuity?

A. Yes! Gratuity is not mandatory, however, we do encourage a cash gratuity for our performers. 


Q. Are character visits just for children?

A. Of course not. Character visits are for all ages!


Q. For what occasions are character visits ideal?

A. Character visits are perfect for just about any occasion! Birthdays, anniversaries, special occasions, hospital visits, day cares, festivals, special events, grand openings; church functions, holiday events, office parties, corporate event entertainment, singing telegrams and much more!  


Q. Where can a character be sent to?

A. Our characters can make appearances to homes, schools, hospitals, offices, libraries, day cares and more! Some venues have their own restrictions and guidelines, so please check if your venue allows outside entertainment before booking.


Q. Is there a deposit required to reserve a character?

Yes, we require a non-refundable deposit to reserve all parties and events. We accept all major Credit Cards and Paypal payments. We do not accept checks for birthday parties. 


Q. What are your cancellations/refund policies?

A. We recommend scheduling your party/event at least 6 weeks in advance for scheduling purposes. We do take last minute bookings within a 72 hour notice. If for any reason you cancel your reservation your deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE. If a cancellation is necessary, the deposit payment will be applied as credit to a future date. We will schedule a performer to perform at your show. Should the performer become ill, get in an accident, etc., we will try everything in our power to have that performer replaced. If we cannot find a replacement after exhausting all our resources, we will gladly refund your money. Regarding snow shows, all purchased snow fluid is non-refundable. 


CHILDREN'S BEHAVIOR: 


Our entertainers are hired as performers, not child care providers. As such, clients must monitor and take responsibility for any disruptive guest's behavior. 


WEATHER:


Performers are not permitted outside while it's raining, on days when the temperature exceeds 90 degrees for Princesses; or 85 degrees for certain characters in latex or armor,  or in areas where the ground or grass is wet or muddy. Our entertainers are often wearing heavy costumes and wigs. To prevent heat-related illness, please make sure that there is plenty of cool shade and iced water available for the performer at your outdoor event.
